Hadley behaving badly

Adrian Hadley's allegations in his new biography could not have been better timed

Adrian Hadley's allegations in his new biography could not have been better timed. The former Wales international wing conceded he had taken an amphetamine (in ignorance) prior to a Five Nations game in the 1980s and this revelation has seen the words "drug cheat" tagged on to a few newspaper headlines. It probably guarantees he will sell a few more autobiographies but surely can't have endeared him to his new employers.

For the second revelation to come from the book was a celebration of Hadley's womanising over the years. The latter came out on the day he was made the new chief executive of Bridgend RFC. You can imagine the phone calls that will ensue from the press. "Hello, can I speak to Mr Hadley, your drug-taking, skirt-chasing chief executive please."
