GLOUCESTER have blamed the Rugby Football Union after being forced to cancel their attractive match against Western Samoa on November 22nd.
The RFU have been accused of "steamroller tactics" by the club which decided they did not have the resources to face the tourists as well as three extra divisional fixtures.
The RFU have streamrollered this divisional stuff through," said angry Gloucester RFC board member John Hall. "We could end up with six or eight divisional games altogether and lose our players for five or six weeks of what is already a packed season."
