ULSTER BANK LEAGUE/Cork Constitution 29 Dolphin 28:CORK CONSTITUTION kept alive their faint hopes of All-Ireland League glory with a bonus point win over Dolphin in an eight-try feast at Temple Hill last night.

Constitution dominated the first-half, but still trailed 10-5 at half-time. Seán Scanlon edged them in front with a fine 10th minute try but Dolphin responded with a Barry Keeshan penalty.

And after surviving intense pressure near the interval, Dolphin broke out with a strong run by Cian Bohane which led to John Quill powering over for a fine try, converted by Keeshan.

In the second-half Dolphin went further ahead with tries by Chris Nolan and John Quill with Keeshan converting one and then dropping a goal and landing a penalty.

But back came Constitution with tries from Niall O’Driscoll, Cathal Quinn, Gerry Hurley and Scanlon again, Hurley converting his own try.

That conversion was to prove the crucial difference in the end.
