Down SF Final: Bryansford 1-8 Mayobridge 0-9 Bryansford pulled off the biggest shock for years in Down club football when they came from behind to stun Mayobridge in yesterday's final in Newcastle.
Bryansford seemed to have missed their chance when they turned around only 0-4 to 0-3 ahead after having had the benefit of the strong breeze in the first half.
But the score that set this game on its head arrived in the 49th minute. A delightful right wing move ripped apart the Mayobridge cover and left Conor Gribben with a simple goal from point-blank range.
