"We don't feel we have done the hard work," insists Bohemians manager Stephen Kenny, having got out of jail with a stoppage time equaliser at 02 Park on Saturday night.
"People may think we would now be favourites with home advantage, but Drogheda have proved in their last couple of matches that they are a very good side and we will have to really dig in and play well.
"But we are on a bit of a run at the moment, having lost just once in 10 (domestic) games since the summer break."
Having selected his side with Drogheda's tight pitch in mind, Kenny is considering a couple of changes, with winger Bobby Ryan, impressive when coming on as a substitute in the first game, striker Paul Keegan and central defender Ken Oman all in contention to start the game.
Defenders Colin Hawkins (hamstring) and Damien Lynch (illness) and winger Mark Rutherford (stomach muscle) all remain sidelined while striker Stephen Ward is unavailable as he is in San Marino for the Irish under-19s' UEFA qualifying tournament.
Drogheda may also makes changes, with manager Paul Doolin having midfielder Darren Beesley fit again following a back strain while experienced central defender Pat Scully is free of suspension, though his involvement is in question following a heavy cold.
"We played very well in the first game, but we had that penalty miss and hit the woodwork a couple of times and it was our own fault we didn't win," said Doolin, who rejects any suggestion Drogheda have blown their chance.
"While it will be tough going to Dalymount, we are well capable of winning," he added.
Mick Cooke has been named as the new manager of First Division Monaghan United.
He succeeds Bobby Browne, who resigned at the end of last month.
