Sir, - When Alan Dershowitz writes (Opinion, November 22nd) that Osama Bin Laden should be tried in a US court because the American people "deserve to see our legal system succeed even in the face of such great evil", I am a little confused.
Does he mean "succeed" in the same way the American legal system succeeded when he helped to defend O. J. Simpson? - Yours, etc.,
