Madam, - Congratulations and thanks to Mary Hannigan (Sport, May 19th) for articulating the frustration and anger felt by Padraig Harrington's legions of fans when Sky Sports One pulled the plug on coverage of his play-off against Thomas Bjorn on Sunday, allowing only its digital subscribers to see the finale.
To be denied the chance to see Harrington win his play-off, having watched him from day one of the tournament, was infuriating. I presume this was part of the campaign to get us to "go digital"? If so, such tactics deserve to fail miserably. - Yours, etc.,
