Madam, - Shutting down portions of the Irish rail network for upgrading and maintenance is inevitable from time to time. However, I am incredulous that half the DART network will be shut down at weekends for a nine-month period.
Will Iarnród Éireann be working on all the South Dublin DART stations simultaneously? Or is this all just a novel approach to solving weekend staff shortages? - Yours, etc.,
