In Friday's paper Patsy McGarry reported on what Prof Enda McDonagh of Maynooth, has to say in the current issue of the Furrow on same-sex unions. To me, his words are those of a Christian who has his feet firmly planted in reality, particularly as regards how such unions compare with marriage.
It is up to the State to provide the civil right to same-sex unions. - Yours etc.,
