Madam, - Last week you published a report about the Minister for Justice backing a campaign to ensure that legislation is drafted in simple intelligible English, rather than in "legalese".
No initiative can have been more timely, now that the Taoiseach and his Ministers have guilelessly admitted that they themselves did not understand their own legislation which set up the Laffoy Commission to inquire into institutional child abuse. - Yours, etc.,
