Madam, - So the actuaries have finally blown the gaffe! Capitalism - or rather the "free market" economy, "Boston not Berlin" style - will no longer be able to pay pensions to workers some time in the future.
Their pensions - "deferred or foregone wages" as they actually are - will no longer be sustainable because of the falling birthrate here in Ireland and inside the EU.
Meanwhile, we are erecting "fortress Europe", denying thousands and thousands of young potential immigrants and refugees, most of whom are young, desperate to work, to settle and bring up their families here and in the rest of the EU. - Yours, etc.,
