Sir, - It is becoming increasingly obvious that Dublin needs a second airport. The time taken on a recent trip from England to Dublin Airport was less than the time taken to get through the airport and to the new long-term (long distance) car park.
I suggest that not only is a second airport needed, but that Aer Rianta and the carriers could make a lot of money by placing the new airport adjacent to the new car park. In that way, a commuter from England, say, could catch an internal flight from Dublin Airport, to the new airport. The time saving on getting to your car would be well worth the price of a short internal flight. - Yours, etc.,
Garry Clarke, Spricklestown, The Ward, Co Dublin.
