Sir, - Do the bombers responsible for last Saturday's atrocity in Omagh have any concept of the effect this tragedy has on the families of their victims? My father passed away last month at the age of 81 after a long battle with cancer. Although I knew it was better that his suffering came to an end and that he had had a very full and long life, the devastation I feel cannot be described. It is beyond my understanding how the people of Omagh must be feeling upon the loss of so many young people whose lives should be stretching out in front of them.
How they will come to terms with this insanity? My prayers go out to those who have lost their loved ones and to the many survivors so seriously injured who must somehow live out their lives with disabilities caused by these unthinking and unfeeling terrorists. - Yours, etc., Vicki Nash,
