Madam, – The ESRI has suggested that our forthcoming carbon tax should be “revenue neutral”; ie that the revenue it generates should fund energy-efficient incentives. The most obvious energy-efficient incentive is public transport. Shouldn’t it follow that public transport providers receive a rebate on their fuel costs?
