Madam, - As two Dubliners we visited the North of Ireland last weekend and stayed in a B&B outside Coleraine. Our host suggested we eat at the Imperial Hotel in Garvagh, where we had a most enjoyable meal.
Next morning at breakfast our host put €6 on the table and said that the hotel had phoned and had asked her to return this sum to us as they had overcharged us.
Isn't it lovely to see that there are honest and tourist-friendly people still around to show the real meaning of Ireland? - Yours, etc.,
