Madam, - I returned recently from a holiday in Spain, where I had occasion to purchase prescribed medication which I forgot to bring with me.
The cost of my monthly supply in Ireland is €27.40. In Spain the medication came in a box containing two months' supply and this cost €9.00 - yes, €9 - which makes this medication six times more expensive in Ireland.
This is just another example of how we are being ripped off in this country. - Yours, etc.,
