Sir, - John Waters is to be congratulated for bringing men's health issues to the fore.
In his article (October 26th) he stated that breast cancer affected women exclusively. This is not the case. Men, too, can succumb to this disease - although it is far less prevalent in men than in women. As recently as a few weeks ago on RTE Radio's Live Line programme, Joe Duffy spoke to a woman whose husband had died of breast cancer. - Yours, etc.,
