Madam, - As an online subscriber living in the US, it is a severe disappointment that the literary review pages are so skimpily represented each Saturday in the Web edition. Shouldn't the Web edition cater - as much as it does for its sports enthusiasts - for those readers whose appetite is also for things literary, and for whom The Irish Times is a way of keeping up to date on what is being published in Ireland and England? I wouldn't imagine I am alone in this complaint.
Given the important place which the print edition of The Irish Times holds in the literary culture of Ireland, this absence from the new medium is most regrettable. - Yours, etc.,
