A woman was arrested today after officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland intercepted a drugs consignment being delivered to a house in Co Antrim from Britain.

A 750 grams batch of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of Stg£75,000, was seized en-route to the address in Lisburn.

A PSNI spokesman said: "The drugs were found when a suspicious package was discovered in transit to a house in the Lisburn area from the UK mainland."

The woman, aged 31 and from the town, was later released on bail pendingfurther inquiries.
