Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Dublin last Thursday that led to the death last night of a 21-year-old man from his injuries.

A motorbike collided with a car at the junction of the North Circular Road and Aughrim Street at 8.20 p.m., resulting in the pillion passenger sustaining serious head injuries.

He died at Beaumont Hospital in the city last night.
