Robbie Williams will play the O2 Arena in Dublin on Friday September 14th, fulfilling a promise he made to play another gig in the city after technical difficulties marred his concert in Croke Park in 2006.

An onstage technical malfunction disrupted that show which was part of his Close Encounters tour.

All proceeds from the upcoming concert will go to Unicef and Childline.

Fans can register for tickets from today until midnight on Sunday.

Tickets for the gig will then be allocated via a random draw. Successful applicants will be notified before mid-day on Tuesday and will be invited to purchase two tickets to the show. Tickets are priced at between €35 - €45.
