Tehran - A Tehran pizzeria whose main product was not a big seller has added a more popular item to the menu: long-sleeved shirts for hire. The restaurant owner came up with the idea after the passport department next door decided not to admit men wearing short-sleeved shirts, which it considered unIslamic, Hamshahri newspaper reported yesterday.
The queue for shirts - rented for a fee of 40 cents and a one-dollar deposit is longer than that for pizzas, the paper said.
