Australia coach Eddie Jones has made one change to the side that beat Argentina in the World Cup's opening game for Saturday's clash with Romania.
Dan Vickerman will replace injured lock David Giffin for the game in Brisbane.
Stirling Mortlock returns to the squad for the first time since November and his inclusion on the bench comes at the expense of replacement scrum-half Chris Whitaker.
The reshuffle leaves Matt Giteau to cover scrum-half, out-half and inside-centre from the bench.
Mortlock, who underwent a shoulder reconstruction at the end of the Super 12 season, missed out on Australia's opening World Cup game after contracting a stomach bug.
Meanwhile, a hat-trick of tries against Fiji was not enough for exciting centre Yannick Jauzion to keep his place in the France side for Saturday's game against Japan.
Jauzion will start from the bench after French coach Bernard Laporte opted to partner Damien Traille with Tony Marsh in the centres, one of six changes to the side that beat Fiji 61-18.
Five of the bench from last Saturday's game have been promoted, including vice-captain Olivier Brouzet, hooker Yannick Bru, prop Olivier Milloud and number eight Pepito Labit, who replaces Imanol Harinordoquy.
In the backs, Traille will start at inside centre while exciting youngster Clement Poitrenaud gets a run at full-back ahead of Nicolas Brusque, who drops out of the 22.
