The victim of the attack, Mr Sarfraz Najeib, was said to be "absolutely disappointed and shattered" by the jury's verdicts.
His father, Mr Muhammed Najeib (47), who broke the news to him, said: "Justice has clearly not been done.
"The last 18 months have been a living hell for our family. Our lives have been shattered. This is not the end of the matter. I intend to fight on for justice for my sons." Mr Najeib said he was still convinced that the attack had a racist motive.
