Tipperary manager Michael Doyle tonight left a vacancy at centre-back as he named his side for this Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling semi-final clash against Kilkenny.
The vacancy is to give former hurler-of-the-year Tommy Dunne as much time as possible to recover from an injury he picked up in their quarter-final win over Offaly. Dunne was forced to sit out training at Semple Stadium last night while having ongoing treatment.
Other changes see Conor Gleeson picked at full forward, with John Carroll reverting to centre forward and team captain Brian O'Meara resuming in his familiar No.12 berth.
