Two Police Service of Northern Ireland officers were injured in a fracas outside a pub in Co Down last night.
The officers were responding to a fight outside a pub in Market Street in Downpatrick during which a man (23) suffered serious facial injuries.
One PSNI officer was struck on the head; a second officer was punched in the melee. One man has been arrested.
