Two men in their twenties are due before Dublin District Court this morning in connection with the seizure of heroin worth an estimated €600,000 last Wednesday.
Three kilogrammes of the substance were found when a number of cars were stopped close to the Red Cow Roundabout.
Follow-up searches in the south inner city led to the recovery of a "substantial" amount of cash.
A third man arrested in the same operation has been released. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
