Two men have died in separate road crashes.
A 25 year-old man died following in Co Armagh when the jeep he was driving collided with a lorry on the Monaghan Road shortly before 8.30am.
The driver of the lorry was shaken but otherwise uninjured, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow, are investigating a crash in which a motorcyclist was killed.
The incident occurred at about 6pm yesterday on the Kiltealy, Co Wexford, to Ballymurphy, Co Carlow, road, when the male motorcyclist (41) travelling on the R703 toward Ballymurphy collided with a car.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were taken by ambulance to St Luke’s hospital in Kilkenny where their condition is described as not serious.
The road was closed for a forensic examination and reopened at midnight.

Yesterday, a man died after his van crashed in Co Armagh. No other vehicles were involved in the incident on the Annvale Road in Keady.
The crash was reported to the emergency services shortly after 6.30am.
