Police in India are understood to be searching for two Irishmen as part of their investigation into the murder of a British woman.
The body of Anna Bartlett was discovered at the weekend in the northern Indian town of Manali - four months after she was suddenly freed from a Dubaiprison after serving over two years for drugs smuggling.
An Indian national has been detained by police investigating her death.
Senior Indian police official Kushal Sharma told BBC News: "The autopsy report has revealed injuries suggesting she was beaten up before her death.
"In this connection we have already arrested a man . . . and are looking for two Irish men and a Nepalese youth."
A post mortem today showed the 25-year-old, from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, died from serious head injuries.
Reports also claimed Ms Bartlett was hacked to death and found partially clothed near a river in the Manali hill station - a popular tourist destination.
