Two men remained in custody last night after gardaí seized drugs with an estimated street value of €120,000 at Dundrum, south Dublin.

The men in their 20s were being detained at Dundrum Garda station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act, which allows them to be held for up to six days. Garda drugs units attached to the station seized cocaine, ecstasy tablets, cannabis and cash during the operation.

In a separate find, cocaine with an estimated street value of €30,000 was seized by gardaí and officers from the Revenue's Customs service in Clondalkin, west Dublin. Two men and two women in their early 30s were questioned at Clondalkin Garda station after the find at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
