Police say three people have been shot in Los Angeles and the shooter is at large.
Gardena police lieutenant Steve Prendergast said the shooter is believed to be a student.
Mr Prendergast added that the three victims have been treated by paramedics and transported to a hospital.
The lieutenant said a teacher at Gardena High School called police at 10.41am (6.41pm GMT). The school is located in the city of Los Angeles and the incident is being turned over to Los Angeles police.
