Three released after questioning over murder

Three people arrested by gardaí in connection with a murder more than two years ago have been released without charge.

Three people arrested by gardaí in connection with a murder more than two years ago have been released without charge.

The three, two men and a woman, were questioned in Garda stations in Dublin about the death of Anthony Jenkinson (28), who was found dead in St Anne's Park, Raheny, on April 1st, 2001.

The woman was released yesterday afternoon and the two men were released last night.

Mr Jenkinson was found, lying face down in the park, by a man out walking with his dog a mile from his Kilbarrack home.

A post-mortem revealed Mr Jenkinson had been killed at the scene and had suffered repeated blows to the head.
