Aer Lingus management and the cabin crew union IMPACT are to attend a Labour Court hearing tomorrow in an attempt to avert strike action over the bank holiday weekend.
Last week cabin crew escalated their industrial action and have threatened to two 24 hour stoppages on Thursday October 23rd, and Monday, October 27th if their demands are not met.
Last week, talks broke down in the Labour Court, but both parties have agreed to return to the negotiating table following the intervention of the National Implementation body.
The National Implementation body monitors disputes involving national pay agreements.Tomorrow's talks will involve a full Labour Court hearing.
Around 1,000 cabin crew have been engaged in a work to rule since last month in a dispute over pay and productivity.
