Vijay Singh was one of only three players to break par in the third round of the Williams World Challenge to leads by four shots from the world number one and host, Tiger Woods, at Sherwood Country Club.p>
Singh holed a 52-yard chip from the 10th fairway for eagle on his way to a one-under-par 71 and a four-shot lead over world number one Tiger Woods.
On a day when the scoring average was three strokes higher than in the opening round, Singh, on 11-under 205, put himself in a great position to claim the one million dollar prize.
Woods had problems on the par-three 17th, where he duffed a chip and then three-putted from 25 feet for a double bogey.
His 74 was matched by German Bernhard Langer, who is a further two shots back in third place.
Dane Thomas Bjorn had the round of the day, a 64 which tied the course record and was 16 shots better than his second round, but he is still 12 shots adrift.
Padraig Harrington could only manage a 75 for a 218 tally while Darren Clarke's 76 leaves him one stroke further adrift.
