The RUC is treating as suspicious the death of a woman in her early 40s in Antrim yesterday. The body was discovered at 3.30 p.m. in a house in Orkney Street on the Springfarm estate. A second sudden death was being investigated by the RUC last night after the body of a man was discovered in a burned-out caravan.
The area, in a yard at Junction Road, Saintfield, Co Down, was sealed off until a full examination could be made today.
A 45-year-old man was critical in hospital last night following a stabbing in on Forthriver Road, north Belfast. A woman is helping police with their inquiries.
