Detectives investigating the murder of the Co Armagh taxi driver, Mr Michael McGoldrick, have called in the RUC underwater team to search an area near where his body was found.
Police divers yesterday searched canals near Lough Neagh after an anonymous telephone call from a man. Detectives appealed to the man to phone again and said that all calls would be treated anonymously. British soldiers are also searching fields in the area.
Mr McGoldrick (31) was found dead 10 days ago in his taxi on a lonely road near the village of Aghagallon, Co Armagh. He had been shot twice in the head. The UDA and the UVF have both denied involvement in the killing but loyalist sources insist that the UVF was responsible.
