Fears increased last night for the safety of a missing Northern Ireland girl who may have been abducted.
Clarissa Martin (15), was last seen in the Newtownabbey area of north Belfast on Saturday morning.
She had no money or a change of clothing.
Det Insp Gary Crawford, who is leading the police inquiry, confirmed: "Unfortunately, the possibility that she has been abducted is something we are considering."
At one stage police believed she may have travelled by train to her home at Islandmagee, Co Antrim, a half- hour journey from Belfast and eight stops to her destination.
But it later emerged that the last sighting of her was at Newtownabbey on Saturday morning. She is known to have left home before but not for this length of time.
She is described as slim with red/ginger hair and brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a blue denim jacket and trainers.
Insp Crawford said all lines of inquiry had drawn a blank.
He added: "We are increasingly concerned about her wellbeing."
