A YOUNG leukaemia patient was yesterday full of praise for Princess Diana, who sold her £2 million dress collection in aid of charity. Holly Hunt (4), a patient at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, said she was "happy" that money from the sale would go towards helping her and her friends to recover.
Holly's mother Jocelyn (35) said she too was delighted with the princess's gesture.
Coronation Street's Percy Sugden is to be killed off by the soap's management because he complained about sex scenes, the Mirror has reported. Executives will get their own back on actor Bill Waddington (81), and Emily Bishop will soon find Percy dead from a heart attack.
Greta Scacchi (36), Felicity Kendal (50) and Madhur Jaffrey (63) are to appear in newly restored versions of three James Ivory and Ismail Merchant movies which go on general release next month.
Kendal made her name in, Shakespeare Wallah in 1965 although she is better known to TV audiences as Barbara Good from the Good Life. Scacchi first came to prominence in 1982 in Heat and Dust in the film adaptation of Ruth Prawer Jhabvala's story. Jaffrey had her film breakthrough in Autobiography of a Princess in 1975 opposite James Mason.
Dudley Moore is being sued by his estranged fourth wife, Nicole Rothschild Moore, who alleges he abused her, forced her to take illegal drugs and defamed her in the forthcoming book Dudley Moore: The Authorized Biography.
