The Minister for Youth Affairs, Mr Willie O'Dea, has called on retailers to withdraw from sale the current edition of the British magazine Sky. The Minister claimed that the magazine contained an article which "promoted the use of drugs by youngsters" and gave details of where to purchase drugs when travelling abroad.

"Articles like this play a central role in developing drug habits among young people by making drug use appear an integral part of popular culture", Mr O'Dea said. "I find it absolutely reprehensible that the editors of this magazine are fuelling one of the biggest problems facing the youth in this country in the interest of boosting sales."
