Integrate Ireland Language and Training (IILT), an organisation devoted to integrating non-English speakers into Irish society, has launched a new book, Anseo: English for Living in Ireland.

The manual is a resource for teachers working with Ireland's adult immigrant population. It suggests more than 50 classroom activities relating to experiences of Irish life as well as a teacher training section detailing the best teaching practices.

The book is the first of its kind to include such a comprehensive Irish perspective and has been distributed to 200 centres across the Republic for the teaching of English as a second language.
