A new air link between Belfast and the north of England was announced today.

A new air link between Belfast and the north of England was announced today.

bmibaby is to start flying a daily service between Belfast International Airport and Teesside in October - with tickets going on sale from this Friday with fares from £12.50 one way including tax and insurance.

The airline also announced that from next month it would be increasing its service between Belfast and East Midlands to three times a day.

It also said that in its first month of operation its Manchester service carried over 12,000 passengers.
