Police were today questioning Leeds United player Jody Morris in connection with a second allegation of serious sexual assault, it was reported.
The 24-year-old player was arrested yesterday in Surrey along with a 26-year-old man from London, according to the Yorkshire Post.
Both men were being questioned at a police station in West Yorkshire and remain in custody.
Earlier this month the Premiership star was arrested and bailed by police investigating a separate allegation of serious sexual assault on a young woman.
A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said today: "West Yorkshire Police yesterday morning arrested two men, a 24-year-old man in Surrey and a 26-year-old man in London in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault.
"The alleged incident happened sometime ago but only recently came to light during an on-going West Yorkshire Police investigation into a separate matter.
"The men are being questioned in West Yorkshire," the spokeswoman added.
Earlier this month the former Chelsea star was quizzed by detectives investigating an allegation that a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Leeds area.
He was detained at the team's training ground at Thorp Arch, near Wetherby in Yorkshire. A second man, not thought to be a footballer, was also arrested. Both were later released. Leeds United were unavailable for comment today.
