The Minister for Finance, Mr Charlie McCreevy, has launched a National Communications Strategy for the development of Ireland's Public Private Partnership(PPP) process.
When Mr McCreevy launched the Framework for Public Private Partnerships a year ago he gave an undertaking to develop a communications and awareness strategy on PPPs.
The aim of the Communications Strategy, the Minister said, is toachieve a profile for Public Private Partnerships as a publicprocurement mechanism.
Mr McCreevy also said that work in delivering the PPP message hadalready begun with information seminars in Cork, Waterford, Athlone and Galway during 2002.
