Man injured in Derry nail bomb attack

A man was injured when a nail bomb exploded outside a house in Derry last night.

The victim was treated in hospital for flesh wounds following the blast in theRosemount area of Derry last night.

As detectives launched an inquiry into the attack police revealed thatparamilitary involvement had been ruled out.

"They are following a definite line of inquiry," a spokesman said.
