A 21-year-old man will today appear in court charged with the rape and kidnapping of a young woman in south Belfast.
The 19-year-old student was attacked in the grounds of a golf club after leaving a dance music event in the King's Hall in Balmoral in the early hours of Tuesday, April 22nd.
Police said she had left the hall to take a pre-arranged bus but when she found it was not there she went into the grounds of Balmoral Golf Club and was attacked.
The man will appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court later this morning.
