A 40-year old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Rebecca French, whose body was found in the boot of her burned out car in Co Wexford last week.
The body of Ms French, a 30-year-old mother of two, was found at Ballindinas, Barntown, Co Wexford, last Friday.
Patrick O'Connor of Ard na Dara, Clonard Road, Wexford town, was charged with intention to impede the apprehension or prosecution of another person who had murdered Ms French at Ard na Dara on October 9th.
Det Garda Colm Byrne told Wexford District Court that he charged Mr O'Connor at New Ross Garda station this morning.
Det Byrne said that in reply to the charge the accused said: "I didn't want anything to happen in my house".
Judge Donnchadh O Buachalla granted Mr O'Connor free legal aid and remanded him accused in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
Two men were last night charged at a special sitting of Wexford District Court with Ms French's murder. They are Lithuanian nationals Ricardis Dilys (27) and Ruslanas Mineikis (25), both with an address at Davitt Road, Wexford.
Piotr Pasiak (26), a Polish national with an address at Lower John Street, Wexford, was also brought before the court charged with impeding the murder investigation.
All three were remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
Two women - one Irish and one Lithuanian - have been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
