Ulster lock Gary Longwell has been overlooked for the province's Celtic Cup final encounter against Edinburgh at Murrayfield this Saturday.
Despite earning 122 caps for Ulster, Longwell's lack of first team games in the last 12 months, through injury, gave coach Alan Solomons cause to omit the influential forward.
Instead, Matt Mustchin starts while fit-again Matt McCullough finds a place on the bench as second row cover. Elsewhere, Paddy Wallace will start at fullback in place of the injured Bryn Cunningham.
With Longwell out, it leaves David Humphreys as the only remaining player who was part of the 1999 European Cup winning side.
Longwell suffered a calf injury during the World Cup campaign and never featured for Ireland in Australia. Before that, his last game was against Italy last August.
