A number of offices in Leinster House had to be evacuated this afternoon after a small fire broke out.
The fire is understood to have started on the fourth and fifth floors of the newly built Leinster House 2000 office block.
Two units of the Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene and quickly put the fire out and there were no reports of injuries.
A spokesman for the fire brigade told ireland.commaintenance work was being carried out on the building and a piece of lagging caught fire.
