Leeds United footballer Jody Morris has been released on police bail after being arrested in connection with a second allegation of serious sexual assault.
The 24-year-old player was arrested yesterday in Surrey along with a 26-year-old man from London.
The Elland Road midfielder was arrested and bailed earlier this month by police investigating a separate allegation of serious sexual assault on a young woman.
Both men have been released after being questioned at a police station in Leeds.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Both men have been released on police bail pending further inquiries."
Police said the latest incident happened some time ago but only recently came to light during an ongoing West Yorkshire Police investigation into a separate matter.
Earlier this month the former Chelsea player was questioned by detectives investigating an allegation that a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Leeds area.
He was detained at Leeds United's training ground at Thorp Arch, Wetherby, near Leeds, along with another man, not thought to be a footballer. Both were later released.
Morris was suspended by the club for 14 days following his first arrest. The suspension was due to end tomorrow.
Leeds United has declined to comment.
