The former Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin West, Mr Liam Lawlor, was ordered to pay further legal fees of €132,000 arising from his ongoing dispute with the Flood Tribunal.
The latest bill means Mr Lawlor, who has served three separate jail terms over his non-compliance with the inquiry, has been ordered to pay over €600,000 in legal fees to tribunal lawyers.
Today’s ruling was made by the High Court Taxing Master, Mr Charles Moran.
The Flood Tribunal's costs are on top of costs which Mr Lawlor himself will have to pay to his own legal team, also likely to be several hundred thousand euros.
